7.6.2016 EN Official Journal of the European Union C 203/8 Article 8 1. After consulting the Scientific and Technical Committee, the Commission shall establish a Joint Nuclear Research Centre. This Centre shall ensure that the research programmes and other tasks assigned to it by the Commission are carried out.
