7.6.2016 EN Official Journal of the European Union C 202/162 Article 261 (ex Article 229 TEC) Regulations adopted jointly by the European Parliament and the Council, and by the Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Treaties, may give the Court of Justice of the European Union unlimited jurisdiction with regard to the penalties provided for in such regulations.
