European Commission 28 February 2007, Commission Regulation (EC) No 214/2007 of 28 February 2007 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93 laying down provisions for the implementation of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 establishing the Community Customs Code
Also known as
Commission Regulation (EC) No 214/2007 amends Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93 (the Customs Code Implementing Provisions) in two principal respects: first, it raises the threshold at which a tariff quota is deemed critical from 75% to 90% of the initial quota volume, thereby reducing administrative burden at importation and promoting uniform treatment across Member States. Second, it replaces Article 308d to require Member States to provide the Commission with data on customs declarations for release for free circulation or export declarations at least once per week, with confidentiality protections for individual Member State data and aggregate data made available to authorised users in all Member States. The Regulation entered into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.AI
