Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/468 of 25 November 2022 amends Decision 2007/116/EC by adding number 116 016 to the list of harmonised numbers reserved for services of social value, designating it as the 'Helpline for Victims of Violence Against Women,' a service enabling victims to seek assistance, be informed of their rights, and be referred to relevant organisations. The legal basis for the amendment is Article 93(8) of Directive (EU) 2018/1972 (European Electronic Communications Code), and the measure was adopted in accordance with the opinion of the Communications Committee. Member States are required to ensure that, as from 30 April 2023, the competent National Regulatory Authority is able to assign the newly reserved number 116 016.AI
