Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1334 of 12 June 2026 amends Decision (CFSP) 2015/1333 to implement UNSC Resolution 2819 (2026) concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya. The amendments update the legal bases for travel bans and asset freezes by incorporating references to paragraph 19 of UNSCR 2819 (2026), and modify the scope of measures applicable to the Libyan Investment Authority (entry number 1 in Annex VI) by introducing new authorisation procedures for the transfer of frozen assets between custodial banks or financial institutions within the same jurisdiction, subject to prior Committee approval and notification requirements. Member States are required to inform other Member States and the Commission of any such authorisation within two weeks of its grant.AI
