Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1736 of 14 July 2026 publishes in the Official Journal of the European Union the references of six harmonised standards (EN 18216:2026, EN 18219:2026, EN 18220:2026, EN 18221:2026, EN 18222:2026, and EN 18223:2026) for digital product passports, drafted by CEN, Cenelec, and ETSI in support of Regulation (EU) 2024/1781. These standards address data exchange protocols, unique identifiers, data carriers, data storage and archiving, application programming interfaces for lifecycle management and searchability, and system interoperability. Conformity with these harmonised standards confers a presumption of compliance with the requirements of Articles 10 and 11 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1781 as of the date of publication, pursuant to Article 10(6) of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012.AI
