Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1845 of 23 July 2026 amends Decision 2014/145/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine, adding 48 persons and 168 entities to the sanctions list and introducing new derogations from the asset freeze to accommodate specific pre-existing contractual obligations, rail transport operations by JSC Russian Railways, and the Paks II nuclear project. The Decision further inserts Article 4c, requiring Member States not to recognise or enforce any court or administrative decision issued by Russian courts in connection with contracts or transactions affected by Union restrictive measures. The amendments entered into force on the date of publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.AI
