Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1352 grants a Union authorisation (number EU-0035028-0000) to Ecolab Deutschland GmbH for the biocidal product family 'Ecolab GA 24-50 BPF', containing glutaraldehyde as the active substance, for product-types PT06 (preservatives for products during storage), PT11 (preservatives for liquid-cooling and processing systems), and PT12 (slimicides), pursuant to Article 44(5) of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012. The authorisation, valid from 8 July 2026 until 30 September 2030, was granted as a 'same biocidal product family' authorisation under Implementing Regulation (EU) No 414/2013, based on the Agency's opinion that the product differs from the reference family 'GA 24-50 BPF' (EU-0030162-0000) only in respects constituting administrative changes under Implementing Regulation (EU) No 354/2013. The Annex sets out the Summary of Product Characteristics, specifying two meta SPCs covering glutaraldehyde concentrations of 48.5–55.3% (w/w) and 23.4–25.9% (w/w) respectively, with detailed use-specific instructions, risk mitigation measures, and personal protective equipment requirements applicable to industrial and trained professional users.AI
