Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2107 maintains a definitive countervailing duty of 13,1 % on imports of continuous filament glass fibre products originating in Egypt following an expiry review under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1037. The Commission established that countervailable subsidisation—including preferential financing attributable to the Government of Egypt, capital support, tax and duty exemptions, and the provision of land for less than adequate remuneration—and material injury to the Union industry were likely to continue if measures expired. The regulation applies directly in all EU Member States from the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.AI
