European Parliament 14 December 2004, European Parliament legislative resolution on the proposal for a Council regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999 on support for rural development from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) (COM(2004)0652 — C6-0162/2004 — 2004/0234(CNS))

1. Approves the Commission proposal; 2. Calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the text approved by Parliament; 3. Asks the Council to consult Parliament again if it intends to amend the Commission proposal substan- tially; 4. Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and Commission.
