European Parliament and Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development 15 November 2005, European Parliament legislative resolution on the proposal for a Council regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 on the common organisation of the market in wine (COM(2005)0395 - C6-0286/2005 - 2005/0160(CNS))

1. Approves the Commission proposal; 2. Calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the text approved by Parliament; 3. Asks the Council to consult Parliament again if it intends to amend the Commission proposal substan- tially; 4. Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and Commission.
