Calls for the timely adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; to this end, advocates the prompt resumption of the proceedings of the Working Group on the draft Declaration; in this respect, calls on the Commission and the Council to fully support the cause of indigenous popu- lations and to take into account the conclusions of that Declaration; 235.
