EN OPINION OF THE EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANK of 23 February 2006 at the request of the Central Bank of Malta on a draft law on the adoption of the euro (CON/2006/10) On 20 January 2006, the European Central Bank (ECB) received a request from the Central Bank of Malta for an opinion on the Euro Adoption Act (bill on the adoption of the euro in the Republic of Malta (hereinafter the ‘draft law’)).
