This Council Decision approves an Arrangement associating Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland as observers in the Schengen Comitology committees to ensure their involvement in the implementation and development of the Schengen acquis. The Arrangement establishes procedural rights for these Associated States to receive documents and offer suggestions, while expressly excluding them from voting and requiring independent decisions on the internal implementation of adopted measures. It further stipulates a financial contribution of EUR 500,000 from the Associated States toward administrative costs and defines the conditions for the entry into force and termination of the agreement.AI
