The European Parliament, in its resolution of 8 June 2022 (2021/2199(INI)), condemns Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine in the strongest terms and calls for the full withdrawal of Russian forces from all occupied territories in Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, invoking the legal bases of Title V TEU (Common Security and Defence Policy), relevant Association Agreements, and the European Peace Facility. The resolution calls for strengthened CSDP missions (EUAM Ukraine, EUMM Georgia, EUBAM Moldova), increased use of the European Peace Facility for lethal and non-lethal military assistance, expanded PESCO cyber capabilities, and enhanced EU-NATO coordination to address hybrid, cyber, and conventional threats across the EaP region.
