OPINION OF MR ADVOCATE GENERAL WARNER DELIVERED ON 20 MARCH 1980 My Lords, This case comes before the Court by way of a reference for a preliminary ruling by the High Court of Ireland. The appellant in that Court is Mr Kevin Lee, who is an office clerk employed by Ag-Tech Refinery at Ballisodare, County Sligo. He is also a part-time farmer.
