OPINION OF ADVOCATE GENERAL SIR GORDON SLYNN DELIVERED ON 10 DECEMBER 1981 My Lords, Mr and Mrs Reina are Italian nationals who have for many years been resident as workers in the Federal Republic of Germany. On 1 October 1979 they applied to the Landeskreditbank, Baden-Württemberg (where they resided) for a childbirth loan, following the birth of their twins.
