OPINION OF ADVOCATE GENERAL SIR GORDON SLYNN DELIVERED ON 3 FEBRUARY 1983 My Lords, Control Data Belgium NV SA (“the applicant”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Control Data Corporation, an American company which with its affiliates manufactures computers. The applicant has the exclusive right to import those computers into Belgium for resale or leasing.
