OPINION OF MR ADVOCATE GENERAL VERLOREN VAN THEMAAT DELIVERED ON16 MAY 1984 ( 1 ) Mr President, Members of the Court, In this case, an Italian court has submitted a number of questions to the Court of Justice concerning the system of production levies on sugar, the object of which to cover the costs incurred by the Community in connection with the disposal of sugar.
