In this case the Pretura Circondariale (District Magistrate's Court), Vicenza, has referred to the Court of Justice for a preliminary ruling three questions on the interpretation of Council Directives 76/464/EEC of 4 May 1976 on pollution caused by certain dangerous substances discharged into the aquatic
