The essential issue in the present appeal from a judgment of the Court of First Instance (2) is what constitutes an interruption of the limitation period in State aid proceedings under Article 15 of Council Regulation (EC) No 659/1999 laying down detailed rules for the application of Article 93 of the EC Treaty [now Article 88 EC].
