Opinion of the Advocate-General Opinion of the Advocate-General I – Introduction 1. In this application, the Commission requests the Court to find that in recruiting and benefiting two of her personal acquaintances during her term in office as a member of the Commission, Mrs Edith Cresson was guilty of favouritism, at least, of gross negligence.
