WRITTEN QUESTION No 521/78 by Mr Schyns to the Commission of the European Communities (2 August 1978) Subject: Free movement of workers in the EEC Article 48 of the Treaty of Rome affirms the principle of freedom of movement for workers within the common market. Any discrimination based on nationality between workers of the Member States is to be abolished.
