WRITTEN QUESTION No 1055/81 by Mr Newton Dunn to the Commission of the European Communities (12 October 1981) Subject: Free movement for sausages Meat sausages which contain a minimum of 65 % of meat and a balance of bread etc. are a traditional, safe, popular and inexpensive food in parts of the Community. However, national laws in certain Member States forbid the sale to the public of such food.
