WRITTEN QUESTION No 1213/81 by Mr Galland to the Council of the European Communities (3 November 1981) Subject: Incompatibility of French nationalization measures with the Treaty of Rome Article 3 (f) of the Treaty of Rome states that the activities of the Community shall include: 'the institution of a system ensuring that competition in the common market is not distorted'.
