Answer given by Mrs Wallström on behalf of the Commission (13 September 2002) The Commission recognises that there is a risk to human health and the environment from the inadequate storage or disposal of obsolete and banned pesticides and is very committed to supporting and promoting the environmentally sound disposal of all such existing stocks.
