Answer given by Mrs Diamantopoulou on behalf of the Commission (27 August 2002) Council Directive 93/104/EC of 23 November 1993 concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time (1) applies to all workers within the scope of Article 2 of Directive 89/391/EEC (2). Directive 93/104/EC does not contain a definition of the term ‘worker’.
