Question for written answer E-000262/12 to the Commission Monika Flašíková Beňová (S&D) (19 January 2012) Subject: Financing of electric power in Greece The Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change recently announced that the state electricity company DEH will pay EUR 2 for every megawatt of electricity that is generated from lignite (brown coal).
