Question for written answer E-000424/12 to the Commission Andreas Mölzer (NI) (23 January 2012) Subject: Investigation of a Turkish airstrike on smugglers At the end of December 2011 the Turkish army conducted an airstrike in Kurdish territory on the Turkish-Iraqi border, in which smugglers were mistaken for PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) rebels and were killed.
