Question for written answer E-002932/12 to the Commission Åsa Westlund (S&D) (15 March 2012) Subject: Dangerous substances in plastic baby bottles In 2011, the EU legislated a ban on bisphenol A in baby bottles. A new study shows that even new baby bottles can leak dangerous substances (336). In total, the study found 31 foreign substances that migrated from the plastic.
