Question for written answer E-002952/12 to the Commission Giommaria Uggias (ALDE) (16 March 2012) Subject: Asbestos warning Asbestos has been recognised as a definite carcinogen for human beings. The highest risk levels have been found in workplaces where asbestos was handled, but also in residential environments where the asbestos is in a poor state of repair.
