Question for written answer E-003349/12 to the Commission Auke Zijlstra (NI) (28 March 2012) Subject: Arrival of another boatload of North Africans at Lampedusa A boat containing 38 Tunisian migrants arrived at Lampedusa, the ‘gateway’ to the EU, in the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday 28 March 2012. The immigrants were taken to a reception centre on the island.
