Question for written answer E-004014/12 to the Commission William (The Earl of) Dartmouth (EFD) (18 April 2012) Subject: EU flag on commercial aircraft It is common to see national flags painted on the bodies of commercial aircraft. Could the Commission explain whether EU carriers are obliged to have an EU flag on the body of the aircraft, and if so, what regulation or directive stipulates this?
