Merkies (S&D) (20 April 2012) Subject: Opening up the Dutch cable networks On 11 February 2009 it was announced that the European Commission was clearing a proposal by the Dutch telecoms regulator, OPTA, to compel Ziggo and UPC to grant alternative providers access to their networks.
