Question for written answer E-004702/12 to the Commission Izaskun Bilbao Barandica (ALDE) (8 May 2012) Subject: Competition, CO2 emissions tax and budget cuts in Member States On 1 January 2013, guidelines regulating the organisation of state aid aimed at mitigating the competitiveness and competition problems caused by the indirect CO2 emissions tax on electricity tariffs will enter into force.
