Question for written answer E-005158/12 to the Commission Philippe De Backer (ALDE) (22 May 2012) Subject: Possibility for fuel delivery firms to reclaim excise duty on fuel products if customers go bankrupt A great number of Belgian fuel traders are anonymous warehouse-keepers. When they purchase their fuel products, they pay the price of the fuel itself plus excise duty.
