Question for written answer E-005567/12 to the Commission Niki Tzavela (EFD) (1 June 2012) Subject: Sentencing of the former President of Liberia The Sierra Leone Government announced today that ‘justice has been done’ with the sentencing of the former President of Liberia, Charles Taylor, to 50 years’ imprisonment for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in that country.
