Question for written answer E-007117/12 to the Commission Nuno Melo (PPE) (16 July 2012) Subject: Unemployment in Portugal According to OECD figures, approximately 500 000 jobs have been lost in Portugal in the last four years. The cuts and austerity measures being implemented by the Government have been making matters worse.
