Question for written answer E-007591/12 to the Commission Marc Tarabella (S&D) (13 August 2012) Subject: Prenatal screening for trisomy 21 Germany, Switzerland and Austria have just given the go-ahead to the placing on the market of a test called Prenatest which is able to detect, easily and efficiently, trisomy 21 during pregnancy.
