Question for written answer E-008247/12 to the Commission Angelika Werthmann (ALDE) (19 September 2012) Subject: ‘Unlikelihood’ of a health risk from compact fluorescent lamps In its answer to my question no E‐006340/2012 of 26 June 2012, the Commission stated on 6 August 2012 that escaped mercury from broken compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) was ‘unlikely to present a health risk’.
