Question for written answer E-008486/12 to the Commission Esther de Lange (PPE) (26 September 2012) Subject: Harmful organisms in Asian wood packaging On 13 September 2012, a harmful Asian longhorn beetle was found in the Port of Rotterdam in a batch of wood packaging from China. Earlier this year, longhorn beetle larvae were found in another wood batch belonging to the same company.
