Question for written answer E-008533/12 to the Commission Mario Borghezio (EFD) (26 September 2012) Subject: 21 European languages out of 30 at risk of digital extinction Some recent studies indicate that fully 21 European languages out of 30 are at risk of ‘digital extinction’ since their existing digital support is too patchy to be able to guarantee their survival on the web.
