Question for written answer E-009507/12 to the Commission Sergio Paolo Francesco Silvestris (PPE) (18 October 2012) Subject: New European regulation on tyres A new European Parliament regulation on the tyres sold in the EU will enter into force as of November 2012. The new text provides for a classification system for tyres based on fuel consumption, external rolling noise and wet grip.
