Question for written answer E-009509/12 to the Commission Sergio Paolo Francesco Silvestris (PPE) (18 October 2012) Subject: Fall in purchasing power According to the latest data provided by Istat, in the second quarter of 2012 the purchasing power of households, after adjustment for inflation, fell by 1.6% from the previous quarter and by 4.1% compared to the second quarter of 2011.
