Question for written answer E-009702/12 to the Commission Nuno Teixeira (PPE) (24 October 2012) Subject: Defending the Community budget 2014-2020 In June 2011 the Commission presented a proposal for EUR 1 083 billion of expenditure for the period 2014-2020, corresponding to 1.11% of European gross domestic product (GDP) and a 5% increase over the current programming period (2007-2013).
