Question for written answer E-010085/12 to the Commission Mathieu Grosch (PPE) (7 November 2012) Subject: EU funding for Ford Ford intends to close its assembly plant in Genk by 2014 which will result in around 4 300 workers losing their jobs. This will have a considerable social and economic impact, not only on the region involved but also on all of Belgium and the EU.
