Question for written answer E-001613/13 to the Commission Hans-Peter Martin (NI) (14 February 2013) Subject: Breach of EU directives through the discharge of groundwater contaminated with pesticides into the Danube On 29 November 2012 it was revealed that groundwater contaminated with pesticides had for several days been pumped into the Danube in the Austrian administrative district of Korneuburg.
