Question for written answer E-002213/14 to the Commission Marlene Mizzi (S&D) (25 February 2014) Subject: Expulsion of EU citizens The Belgian authorities have sent expulsion letters to 2 712 EU citizens. They have claimed that the expulsion orders were sent because the citizens in question are an unreasonable burden on the welfare system.
