The following is the unofficial translation of Myanmar’s newly enacted
Media Law.
Chapter 1
Title and Definition
1. This law shall be called Media Law.
2. The following expressions contained in this Law shall have the
meanings given hereunder:
(a) Media means getting, collecting and acquiring information,
keeping them in documentation, analyzing and publishing etc.
