LORD MANCE: The Board has before it an interlocutory issue arising in the course of the continuing litigation following its judgment on 5 May 2009 on preliminary issues in Privy Council Appeal No 60 of 2008. In that judgment the Board concluded that it was not necessary for a valid appropriation for a collateral-taker to become registered owner of the shares.
